In any business or organization, it is important to have a kind of leadership that can think and look strategically in the future. Yes, there are lots of leaders out there but the question is how many of these leaders are truly effective? Some say that leaders are born, not made however, there is always a way to identify leaders within any business and organization. Leadership does not have to be confined within a handful of top performers in the organization. Good training and development programs on leadership also include sessions on presentations – specifically creating effective presentations, performance checks with the help of case studies, and leadership quotes that will inspire or motivate leaders.
Oftentimes, businesses and organizations find wrapping up a leadership training and development program quite a challenge. What really needs to be done is to conduct an after action review for the training and development class or program. This will not only provide feedback for the class or program, it will also emphasize the use of effective feedback as a leadership tool.
